Workshop: skills for IPv6

E-mail Print PDF

13th December 2010, Ghent Belgium

Registration closing on 8th December - 5pm CET

Presentation

With less than 5% of available IPv4 addresses, IPv6 is at the corner. Are you ready?

Readiness starts with training! How learning ways to integrate IPv6 at an optimised cost without compromising security? How discovering the best options to integrate IPv6 in new businesses? How identifying missing competences for your business?
These are some of the underlying questions to be discussed during this IPv6 event.

Putting together IPv6 training providers, training beneficiaries and policy makers, this workshop will be a unique opportunity to raise preparedness of the IT workforce in Europe to ensure business continuity and increase innovation level in a context of IPv4 addresses drying up.

The whole day workshop will alternate presentations from stakeholders, presentation of results obtained in the framework of the IPv6 Curricula study commissioned by the European Commission and discussions.

Conclusions from the event will be included in the IPv6 Curricula study report and will be presented the day after, during the IPv6 day on 14th December in Ghent, Belgium.

Registration to the event is free but mandatory.
